TNPSC

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is a government body responsible for conducting examinations and recruiting candidates for various civil service positions within the state of Tamil Nadu. Established under the provisions of the Constitution of India, TNPSC plays a crucial role in ensuring the merit-based selection of candidates for state government jobs.


Eligibility

  • Group I Services: Generally 21-32 years. Age relaxation may apply for reserved categories.
  • Group II Services: Generally 18-32 years. Age relaxation may apply for reserved categories.
  • Group III Services: Generally 18-30 years. Age relaxation may apply for reserved categories.
  • Group IV Services: Generally 18-30 years. Age relaxation may apply for reserved categories.
  • Age limits are subject to change based on the specific exam notification.

Education

  • Group I Services: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
  • Group II Services: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Some positions may require specific educational qualifications.
  • Group III Services: Higher Secondary (12th standard) or equivalent. Some positions may require a degree or diploma.
  • Group IV Services: Completion of 10th standard or equivalent. Some positions may require higher qualifications.

Eligibility

  • Must have attained the age of 21 before 1st on of year of examination.
  • Must not have attained 32 years(35|37 years) on 1st August of year of examination.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree with atleast one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Mathematics and Statistics (or)Bachelor Degree in Agriculture, Forestry (or) Engineering (Recognized by UGC/AICTE)
